Venu Demo Screen Animation

In 2019, Garmin was rolling out their new line of Venu smartwatches.

These smartwatches boasted AMOLED screens for perfect blacks and vivid colors, a first for Garmin. I was tasked with creating a looping demo animation for POP display cases that highlighted the available features in a way that would grab the attention of those walking past. This animation was installed on display watches and is shown when a user first turns on the device out of the box.

Concepting and Development

Before the project began I held brainstorming sessions with the art director to develop the concept for the display animation. I then developed and presented storyboards to the client, software developers and creative directors and created the final files for delivery.
